MESOPOTAMIA — Township officials over the July 4 holiday weekend dedicated a new flag pole at the center after residents expressed concerns of the need for a new pole and flag. Trustee Chairman Joe Pavlic said the township did not have the funds for a new pole and needed concrete work, but his brother John Pavlic was able to get donations from businesses and residents to pay for the concrete and the work for the flag pole and display area.
