In 2023, John Brown walked into the position of Warren Council president with no May primary opposition or any November general election opposition. Actions speak a lot louder than words

DEAR EDITOR: I am deeply concerned about the past actions of Ken MacPherson, who is currently running for Warren City Council at large. A look at his voting record shows some alarming inconsistencies and a lack of concern for citizens’ welfare. Over a short three-year period, MacPherson voted against sewer upgrade projects 10 times and voted against police equipment four times. He voted against certifying the AFSCME union contract in 2020 and against the union contract providing pension pickup in 2021.
