DEAR EDITOR:

The recent example of horrible cruelty and abuse of a dog/Baby at the hands of a neighborhood man is vile, disgusting and scum-bag behavior on Oak Knoll SE. It is horrific!

The helpless dog was chained to his basement– cold, dark and alone — no food or water or medical attention with only a dirty blanket to lay on!

I have to wonder how she survived this past cold winter. The pain she must have endured — it is unimaginable!

When found she was unable to walk and finally had to be euthanized due to the terrible condition she was in — caused by his cruelty. At least now she is out of her misery and is in the hands of God.

Unfortunately, the neighbor man has been charged only with a fifth-degree felony. I disagree with that charge. it is too low because the judge should be able to sentence him to jail time, which he definitely deserves — along with a hefty fine.

We need stricter laws and punishment for abusers.

I certainly hope he is fired from his job. He should be banned by law from ever owning another animal. The only animal he should be allowed to be around is Danny Lee Hill, another vile, disgusting scumbag, like himself.
