WARREN — Ohio’s 11th District Court of Appeals on Monday rejected a second motion by a convicted Trumbull County murderer and upheld his life prison sentence. Dominic M. Howland board hears five-year plan

HOWLAND — Changes have been made to how public education is funded in recent years, and the Howland Board of Education learned how the district will be affected through its five-year plan. Hubbard assisted by other departments at weekend fire

HUBBARD — The Eagle Joint Fire District was assisted this weekend at a house fire in the 100 block of Christian Avenue. When fire crews arrived at the scene, there was heavy smoke that could be seen coming from the roof of the structure. Hubbard crews were able to get the fire under control with the assistance from numerous other departments.
