Boy, 6, dies after being shot Monday afternoon in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN — A 6-year-old boy died after being found shot inside a home in the 500 block of Plum Street on the near West Side Monday afternoon. The Youngstown Police Department issued a press release Tuesday morning stating that police were called to the home at 4:09 p.m. for a shooting. Niles police respond to weekend disturbance

NILES — No charges were filed following a weekend disturbance between neighbors, where one person said a gun was involved. According to a police report, officers were called to an Evans Street residence for a dispute between the resident and their neighbor on West Street, and the Evans Street caller said a woman at the residence had gone into the house and grabbed a gun.
