Staff report WARREN — A city man acquitted of attempted murder and felonious assault charges in June of 2021 was among 29 people indicted Thursday by a Trumbull County grand jury. Daron Warfield Jr., 37, Austin Avenue SW, Warren, is facing three counts of strangulation, and one count each of felony domestic violence and felony menacing by stalking, and misdemeanor criminal damaging/endangering and telecommunications harassment. Because Ashtabula County residents with measles were at a July 18 horse sale auction in Bloomfield, the Trumbull County Combined Health District is warning of a potential exposure to what it calls “a highly contagious respiratory virus.” The Ashtabula County Health Department confirmed two measles cases in the county.
