The U.S. reopened a border crossing in Arizona to cattle from Mexico on Monday as part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to reduce record-high beef prices, though economists doubt the move will mean much to grocery store shoppers. 49ers owner enters plea in area prostitution case

San Francisco 49ers owner John “Jed” York was arrested on two misdemeanor charges at an East Palestine trailer park over the weekend. Court records show that York initially was charged with engaging in prostitution, but Columbiana County prosecutors amended that to disorderly conduct. York was charged with possessing criminal tools for using his phone to respond to an undercover online prostitution advertisement, according to prosecutors. McDONALD — Village officials have secured over $1 million for sidewalk improvements in the community with work to be done in 2028. Mayor Ray Lewis said the village secured funding from Eastgate Regional Council of Governments for replacement and for new installation of sidewalks in various parts of the community. He said they will be installed along Ohio Avenue up to the football stadium complex.
