Because Ashtabula County residents with measles were at a July 18 horse sale auction in Bloomfield, the Trumbull County Combined Health District is warning of a potential exposure to what it calls “a highly contagious respiratory virus.” The Ashtabula County Health Department confirmed two measles cases in the county.
