Mecca officials will rebid for township hall project

MECCA — For the second time, township trustees will rebid the township hall project that has been scaled down. Trustee Chairman Tom Domes said trustees decided at the July meeting to proceed with rebidding the project with several project adjustments made to the plans. Stephanie Holko from Phillips Sekanick Architects presented a revised floor plan for the building that better aligns within the township’s budget. WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal health officials on Friday expanded the scope of their investigation into an outbreak of a diarrhea-causing parasite to four additional states, broadening the size of the largest U.S. outbreak of cyclospora.
