Trumbull County officials warn of potential measles exposure
Because Ashtabula County residents with measles were at a July 18 horse sale auction in Bloomfield, the Trumbull County Combined Health District is warning of a potential exposure to what it calls “a highly contagious respiratory virus.” The Ashtabula County Health Department confirmed two measles cases in the county. Ashtabula County had an outbreak last year of measles with 10 unvaccinated people contracting the disease.
