Vienna eyes new electronics for fire department

VIENNA — With fire officials needing updated technology, trustees are looking at whether laptops or desktops could be the more feasible option moving forward. During the workshop portion of Monday’s regular meeting, Trustee Kim Ellis reported that the fire department is looking to purchase new desktop computers because the ones they have are going out of date. Man accused of hurting girlfriend

LIBERTY — A Youngstown man is accused of grabbing his girlfriend by the hair and pulling her to the ground, as an argument escalated early Tuesday. Elijah Ivy, 27, appeared in front of Girard Municipal Court Judge Jeffery Adler on a felony charge of domestic violence.
