The Ohio Department of Transportation announced new road closures on Friday that will begin Monday for pavement work:

• State Route 46 from north of East Market Street to state Route 5 will have various lane restrictions through early May.

• State Route 193 between state Route 88 and the Ashtabula County line in Johnston and Gustavus will have various lane restrictions through early May.

Also, starting May 4, state Route 193 between Gardner Barclay and Davis Peck roads in Gustavus will be closed through May 8 for a culvert replacement. The detour will be state Route 88 to state Route 46 to state Route 87.
