‘Geauga Jeep Invasion’ benefits veterans

MIDDLEFIELD — The sixth annual “Geauga Jeep Invasion” rolled through Geauga County with record participation and generosity this year, raising nearly $20,000 to benefit local veterans’ programs. The event was organized by the Burton-Middlefield Rotary Club and chaired by Andrew Pleso, with major sponsorship from Junction Auto Family and support from numerous local partners. It seems like just yesterday we were taking down the Christmas tree and putting away all our holiday decor, and once again the holiday season is upon us! As a farmer, not only do we have to take care of the normal holiday prep, but we also must plan for any upcoming holiday events and travel and how those will be covered at the farm. Although it takes extra planning, and sometimes even extra work (weather depending), the holiday season on the farm holds an extra special place in my heart. Champion sets tree lighting
