Youth-led markets set in Warren, Youngstown

INSPIRING MINDS MARKETS: This summer, over 300 students in the Mahoning Valley participated in Inspiring Minds’ six-week summer enrichment program. Both the Warren and Youngstown chapters of Inspiring Minds will culminate their programs with annual youth-led summer markets on July 21 in Warren and July 25 in Youngstown. It’s Trumbull County Fair week! Hopefully, you have already made it to the fair, but if not, there is still time. This year marks the 180th fair, and fair week has always made me nostalgic. Growing up, I showed rabbits and later pigs, and I spent much of the week working with the Junior Fair Board. McDonald dedicates day to safety

McDONALD SAFETY DAY: The McDonald Village Safety Day will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Park. The event is sponsored by the McDonald Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 194.
