David L. Stohler

WARREN — David Lee Stohler, 51, of Warren, passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

He was born April 27, 1965, in Warren, the son of the late Virgil Stohler and Violet Ferry Speelman.

He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. David retired from Wards Auto Parts after 30 years of service. Following retirement, he started a new adventure, Team Truck Driving, with his youngest son, Kody, at XPO Logistics. He loved to drive and put models together. He was strong-willed, lived off the land and enjoyed spending time with his friends and his two sons.

David is survived by his two sons, Dillon Stohler and Kody Stohler, both of Warren; ex-wife, Dodie Stohler; mother, Violet Speelman; sister, Helen Bozzo; and brother, John Speelman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil J. Stohler; and paternal grandparents, who raised him, Lawrence and Mildred Stohler.

Services will be 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at First Church of the Nazarene in Leavittsburg, with a meal to follow. Friends may call 5:30 to 6 p.m. Friday at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home in Warren.
