DEAR EDITOR: Before it became the White House, it was called “the President’s House.” George Washington selected the site to renovate, upgrade or change the way every president has since 1792. Period. President Taft had a Victorian obsession in 1881, with a Tiffany window in front. In 1902, Theodore Roosevelt got rid of that and added the West Wing and a tennis court. DEAR EDITOR: The World Jewish Congress has given its highest recognition, the Theodor Herzl Award, to Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA), primarily for his support for Israel. Lesson on foreclosure and tax collection

DEAR EDITOR: This is a response to Mr. Lee Arent’s letter published on Nov. 15, 2025. Mr. Arent lacks a basic understanding of the tax collection and foreclosure process. I have never stated I am waiting for a two-year period before taking action on the matter of the Southern Park Mall because there is no action I can legally take. There is nothing “usual or customary” about it. Ohio Revised Code directs me to publish twice a year a list of all property tax payers delinquent in the most recent collection period. Don’t fall for Trump’s bait and switch tactics

DEAR EDITOR: Trump (or his MAGA handlers) is brilliant. He now wants the House and Senate Republicans to vote for releasing the Epstein documents to give them cover in the hopes of keeping the House and Senate in 2026. Trump says he will even sign it. Then, after the vote, Trump’s DOJ will announce that, as much as it would like to, it just cannot release the files because of an ongoing investigation into involvement of certain Democrats with Epstein.
