DEAR EDITOR: Extradited to the U.S. in 2022, former Honduran President Juan Carlos Hernandez was convicted in March 2024 of trafficking 400 tons of cocaine into the United States. Federal Court Judge Kevin Castel sentenced Cocaine Carlos to 45 years of incarceration. On Dec. 2, the malignant narcissist gave Hernandez a full pardon. Trump sycophants Roger Stone and Matt Gaetz lobbied for the pardon. DEAR EDITOR: On viewing my emails today, I noticed not just one, but two warnings from companies about their user’s personal data being compromised. Though (at least I hope) these two messages on the same day don’t affect me, they once again make me wonder how these companies, whose owners can use our capitalist system to acquire more wealth than any king in history, can’t, by their own admission, keep anyone from scamming their customers. DEAR EDITOR: Here’s what the shooting by ICE in Minnesota comes down to. There is a substantial minority of this country who blindly follow whatever an “authority” figure tells them. Millions of Americans would actually be more comfortable in North Korea, where they’d have to do no thinking at all, no matter what their eyes and ears tell them.
