We must find a way to save Poland Library

DEAR EDITOR: Many of us began our Poland Library experiences and adventures by marching single file as students from Poland Union School to the Poland Library, then located upstairs at the firehouse. So many wax equally nostalgic for today’s library. Our current beloved library must be saved. For others to consider spending twice as much on a new (namely and presumably a modern, characterless edifice) building rather than to refurbish / update / reinforce our current gem is ludicrous. DEAR EDITOR: After getting a laugh out of Rick Muccio’s great “snow blower” cartoon Monday, I have to take a few minutes to make a long-overdue observation: The readers of The Vindicator and Tribune Chronicle are beyond lucky to have a local cartoonist. Even one who is part-time, but especially one with Muccio’s talent. Far larger papers are dropping their cartoonists because cartoonists cost money — and they sometimes ruffle feathers. Walz, Frey to blame for chaos in Minneapolis

DEAR EDITOR: I blame the governor, mayor and protesters for the two deaths that occurred in Minneapolis. The governor and the mayor encouraged these protests and the protesters were paid to do the dirty work on their behalf. Who is paying them? I am sure it is George Soros. When President Obama, the “Deporter in Chief of illegals,” was in office, he had the benefit and support of local police to work with ICE agents to get illegals out of Democratic cities. ICE has no business being in Ohio

DEAR EDITOR: I am concerned and angry with the interference by ICE goons, as ordered by the president, to deport people in cities including Los Angeles, D.C., Chicago, Minneapolis, and others. ICE might soon visit Springfield, Ohio, to clear out the Haitians who live there peacefully with temporary protected status (TPS). Gov. DeWine says he does not know if they will come, but he will have the Ohio State Patrol to back up the Springfield police and the Clark County Sheriff’s Department to ensure peace.
