Lots of ‘maybes’ about Trump’s war in Iran

DEAR EDITOR: Maybe if Trump had respected the American people by discussing necessary information pertaining to this war beforehand. Maybe if Trump had discussed this war with congress and some smart people. Maybe if Trump didn’t sneak around everybody. Maybe if Trump hadn’t lied about his “attack” intentions. Maybe if Trump threatened less and listened more. Maybe if Trump had something more intelligent than just an ‘idea or thought’ of war. DEAR EDITOR: I simply cannot understand how people can stand behind Trump in their MAGA merch and behave as though chaos is not playing out all around them. I ask myself “are these people stupid? Are they purposefully ignorant of cataclysmic events occurring in this country and the middle east? Don’t be fooled by Trump’s tax numbers

DEAR EDITOR: When will taxpayers realize that getting a refund is only getting back the money that they overpaid to the IRS? President Donald Trump is just using the refund as a cover-up for the tax changes benefitting the highest earners. Sixty-two percent of the tax advantages will go to those earning between $65,388 and $261,591, and 14% of the benefits will go to the top 5% of earners. DEAR EDITOR: The definition of “ignorant” is lacking knowledge and training; i.e., uninformed. Our military is taught and trained to not follow illegal orders. If this is true, who is responsible for the non-congressional declaration of war with Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq? The four “no-win” conflicts cost many lives and permanent lifelong injuries.
