We fired Frenchko and Cantalamessa in the last election; now it's time for a clean sweep. Reckless and irresponsible Denny Malloy must go. He wastefully spent $38 million in a feeble attempt to buy votes, while neglecting our own county infrastructure. He raised our water rates in Howland by 80%, while making no effort to trim costs. He tried to bully our MetroParks board by threatening funding cuts. The state of Ohio FIRED Denny, now it's time for Trumbull County to do the same.

I'm 74 years old and when I stop at my local convenience store to buy a pack of beer, believe it or not, I still have to show my ID. Why doesn't the Democratic Party of today want an ID to be required for something as important as voting. What are they afraid of? I did my homework a while ago, and I'm pretty sure of their motives.

He says wind power is stupid. He says EPA regulations are stupid. He says Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others are stupid. He says new NFL rules are stupid. Our family says HE IS STUPID. Please, Mr. President, do something concerning the economy.

President Trump is complaining about members of NATO not backing him in the Middle East. One cannot impose huge tariffs and call your "allies" names and then expect them to help you. He claims he's doing what no one else would do in 37 years. What if that causes World War III?

Republicans' numbers are stacked against them. With time limited, they limp toward midterms. Their 3-point plan is forcefully and fraudulently executing: Gerrymandering, which has demolished majority rule; decimating the Voting Rights Act of 1965, accomplished by stealing a Supreme seat from Obama winding the clock back 50 years on civil rights; and now, "SAVE" Changing Rules of voter registration by pounding on the table lying like heck "Voter Fraud!". Should Republicans succeed in their lying iconoclastic adventures, 50% of poor and 10% of all voters will be disenfranchised. Fait accompli?

Let's do away with political parties and let people vote how they really feel. A convicted criminal is running our country.

The Democratic Party continues to show its blatant irresponsibility. They oppose the SAVE Act that allows ONLY U.S. citizens to vote. They oppose funding DHS that protects Americans, because they like anarchy better. They support open borders so that they can essentially buy votes. The list goes on and on. Let's hope that voters in the midterm elections and 2028 POTUS race REJECT the Democratic Party and its policies that are against AMERICA!

President Trump has become our PINO -- president in name only -- because he hung a picture of Vladimir Putin in Our White House! Putin has publicly taken sides with Iran against the USA putting US troops in harm's way. Trump better wake up and condemn his KGB buddy Vlad publicly or pack his bags for Mar-a-Lago! We need an honest wartime leader.

A contributor cites Trump wastes taxpayers' money. Trump didn't sign-off on Noem's ad expense. She was replaced. ICE budget could've been reduced if Biden didn't allow 10 million illegals to seize our country.Trump-Kennedy Center restoration partially funded through art endowments and donors, as is the ballroom. Lincoln bathroom paid by Trump. Obama gave Iran $1.7 billion cash in 2016. Build Back Better flop raised our debt $2.4 trillion over 10 years. Who wasted taxpayers' money?

It`s "Walk softly and carry a big stick" not, "Dancing in foreign made Florsheims and being a big d--." Commander Bonespurs. Sheesh.

Melania Trump says she has laser focus when she wants to accomplish something. She should have given that help to her husband when he felt or thought Iran was going to attack us. He has little idea when or how to stop it now. His main purpose was to divert attention from his Epstein mess and figured this would do it. Now he doesn't know what to do.

"Mayor trumpets growth throughout city" (Tribune, March 14-15, 2026) Yes, he continues to rave about the Peninsula Development, the Kimberly-Clark project, the potential of the West Warren Industrial Park and the Golden Triangle. He touts the area's affordable housing, the restaurants and the entertainment venues…but we need a hospital! Is anything being done about that? Let's focus on a critical need of the area!

Trump should not have fired all those seasoned FBI, CIA agents and the security analysts. Iran is playing him like a fool just like Putin does. It sure looks like we have a void in knowing our enemy. 47 and Petey H. act like this war is a video game while killing and wounding our troops and wasting billions each day of this fiasco. My message to 47 is stay home and take care of us citizens.

We have 11 national holidays. All of them have merit. Why isn't Election Day a national holiday? Many people can't afford to miss work to vote. Voting is extremely important in our democracy. Trump wants to do away with mail-in voting even though more Republicans vote by mail than Democrats. Make Election Day a national holiday!

Has anyone driven on Gary Avenue in Girard lately? It is torn up badly. It's almost like buses and students that were originally supposed to use Shannon Road started flying up and down Gary Avenue and really took a toll on it. What a mess.

Iran has to stop its terrorism, but now Trump and his people are looking stupid with their "no plan:" attack. They failed to consult with our allies, yet now they expect those same allies to assist in the straits. Trump is spending billions each day and not concerned for the US's economy. He is all bluster and for his pocketbook. And all these GOP wonder why the bulk of the USA do not support him. HELLO Y'ALL!

Mike Loychik for county auditor? Remember this is the guy who proposed renaming Mosquito Lake to Trump Lake, didn't return phone calls to the press or his constituents, and spent more time at Columbus bars than he did doing anything good for the county. Voters beware -- he has no valuable experience.

Mr. Rulli, Instead of introducing a bill to prevent ICE from being harassed, why not introduce a bill safeguarding the rights of American citizens exercising their First Amendment rights. Maybe author a bill requiring proper ICE training. Novel idea. If ICE was performing its duties in a legal and lawful manner like other law enforcement officials who wear a body camera and not a mask, and don't always use facial recognition technology to track and identify protesters. Maybe they would not be harassed.
