AUSTINTOWN — Glenn E. Dorhn, 71, died unexpectedly late Wednesday afternoon, July 23, 2025, at his residence. He was born Feb. 3, 1954, in Warren, a son of Edward J. and Thelma A. Howe Dorhn. Glenn was a 1972 graduate of Grand Valley High School in Orwell and worked as a chief engineer for the U.S. Merchant Marine at Dann Marine in Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, for 15 years. He married the former Wilma I. Almasi on Sept. 10, 2015. Together, they shared almost 10 years of marriage and many wonderful memories. She survives him. CORTLAND — Caroline Marie Derkach, 75, gained her angel wings when she passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, with her family by her side. Caroline was born on Dec. 5, 1949, a daughter of Bernard and Marjorie Charles, and sister to Harry “Chike,” Tom, Dick and Bernie Charles and Margie D’Alesandro, who all preceded her in passing. CHAMPION — Bonita D. Sheldon, 83, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. She was born May 19, 1942, in Warren, a daughter of Lyle Vernon and Dolores S. Muehlheim Sweany. Bonita was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Over the years, she worked various jobs which included: Mullee’s Appliance, Tribune Chronicle, Allen’s Bakery and JCPenneys.
