Suzette M. Garland 1934-2025

She was born Nov. 7, 1934, in Leavittsburg, the daughter of the late Ralland Reid Mason and Eleanor Mae Walton Mason.

Suzette was a 1953 graduate of Leavittsburg High School. She was employed as a cafeteria worker and substitute bus driver in the LaBrae schools for 20 years.

Suzette was a member of Lordstown Lutheran Church and Ruth Circle. She enjoyed looking through photo albums, researching family history and keeping in touch with her high school classmates, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Randy) Young of Braceville; son, Jim (Sandi) Walters of Newton Falls; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Ralland Mason Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Bob” Garland; and sons, David Todd Walters and Randall Scott Walters.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Warren Township.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
