Michael J. Skelton 1967-2026

Mike was born on Jan. 17, 1967, in Niles, to Barbara Fellows.

He grew up in Niles alongside his younger brother Joey and graduated from Mineral Ridge High School in 1985.

He then joined the United States Army in 1986, where he was a general equipment repairman and stationed in Furth, Germany.

He worked at Stamtex and for Time Warner Cable for over 20 years. He was a hard-working man who would do anything to provide for his family.

Mike enjoyed fishing, riding ATVs, playing video games, working out, and above all else, spending time with his two sons. He loved playing catch with his boys and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play on Sundays.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Kathryn) Skelton and Tyler Skelton; brother, Joey (Jen) Fellows; niece, Stacy Moore; nephews, Jon Moore and Conner Fellows; and cousins, Shawn and Richard.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Dick Skelton, who helped raise him.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2026. Friends may call an hour before the service, 5 p.m., at the funeral home.
