Cathy Paula Clauss 1950-2024

She was born June 15, 1950, in Grove City, Pa., the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl Burke Mars.

Cathy was a 1970 graduate of Champion High School and was a homemaker. Some of her hobbies included crocheting, playing computer games and flower gardening. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family.

Survivors include her loving husband, Roger Clauss, whom she married on June 17, 2000; her children, Kathleen (Michael Sr.) Taylor of Jefferson, Kathy (Don) Gohr of Tallmadge, Bryan (Susan) Ulery of Katy, Texas, Mark Ulery of Farmdale and Allan Ulery of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren, Courteny, Michael Jr. and Nicholas Taylor, Nolan, Allie and Garrett Gohr, and Ava Ulery. Also surviving is her only brother, Robert “Ike” Mars of Mecca.

Per Cathy’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will not be any calling hours or services. All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren.
