VIDEO: SUV slams into vehicles at Warren Township fire station

WARREN TOWNSHIP - An SUV slammed into three vehicles parked in front of the Warren Township fire station Saturday, demolishing one pickup truck and damaging two other vehicles. Two of the damaged vehicles were firefighters' private vehicles. The third vehicle was owned by a woman visiting the fire station and who had exited her vehicle just seconds earlier. NEWTON FALLS — A Newton Falls councilwoman did not appear in court Thursday morning for her arraignment on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence and not maintaining lanes of travel. VIDEO: Weathersfield power plant smoke stack toppled

WEATHERSFIELD – Demolition Friday of the former Ohio Edison power plant smoke stack took longer than expected. Originally scheduled for early morning, the 400-foot high smoke stack located near McKee’s Lane off state Route 46 didn’t end up coming down till around 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 21.
