GIRARD — The Girard City Schools Board of Education this week approved bringing back an intervention specialist whose job was among three positions that the board cut at its May meeting. YOUNGSTOWN — Two downtown events scheduled for this weekend have been postponed because of expected poor weather conditions. The America 250 First Fridays, which was to take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday along North Phelps Street and West Federal Street, was postponed because of expected extreme heat.
