WARREN — Trumbull County Commissioners during their Wednesday meeting approved using $1,955,000 in Trumbull Senior Levy funding to provide services to the county’s senior residents. FirstEnergy Corp. FirstEnergy Corp. on Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of $288 million. On a per-share basis, the Akron-based company said it had net income of 50 cents. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 49 cents per share.
