EWI, an advanced manufacturing and engineering solutions company in Columbus, has been selected by America Makes and the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining to lead a $13.2 million national program. The effort is aimed at solving one of the biggest barriers to using additive manufacturing for critical defense parts: the cost and complexity of verifying part quality. CANFIELD — Patrick Havas, who is alleged to have lunged at Amy Acton, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate, during an incident Sunday afternoon at the Canfield Fair, did not commit any offenses that rise to felonies, Mahoning County Prosecutor Lynn Maro said. WARREN — The Tribune Chronicle is seeking nominations for its 14th annual Twenty Under 20 program. The newspaper will recognize 20 high-achieving individuals younger than 20 for their leadership skills through volunteerism, extracurricular activities and academic achievements.
