Paper seeks nominations for Twenty Under 20

WARREN — The Tribune Chronicle is seeking nominations for its 14th annual Twenty Under 20 program. The newspaper will recognize 20 high-achieving individuals younger than 20 for their leadership skills through volunteerism, extracurricular activities and academic achievements. Nominees need to be a resident of Trumbull County, at least a freshman in high school and no older than 19 as of Dec. 1. Public hours are returning to the seventh annual Mahoning Valley Skilled Trades Expo this year, giving anyone curious about a hands-on career the chance to pick up a tool, meet the pros and explore what’s possible. NEWTON FALLS — After several interviews and meetings with candidates, village council has hired Corey Snow as its new full-time village clerk/clerk of council. Snow was hired at a salary of $78,332, with increases every three months until he reaches a salary of $87,464 after 12 months. The position does not allow for any overtime pay for the clerk. Snow will handle day-to-day operations at the municipal building, where he will work with new Village Manager Jeremy Shaffer, while also serving as clerk for council’s two regular monthly meetings. Enbridge names new CEO

Enbridge Inc., a North American natural gas supplier, announced Monday that Greg Ebel will retire as president and chief executive officer effective Dec. 31 and that Michele Harradence has been appointed to succeed him Jan. 1. Harradence is currently Enbridge’s executive vice president and president, gas distribution and storage.
