WARREN — A man was sentenced to 18 months in prison after an 18-month-old child accessed fentanyl left out in the open at a home, which led to a hospital visit for the toddler.

Rashod Bradley, 28, of North Park Avenue, Warren, received the term Thursday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court following his July 10 guilty plea to third-degree tampering with evidence, a felony, and misdemeanor assault.

The case involved a Jan. 18 incident at a Howland home, where the child ingested the drug and required medical treatment but ultimately recovered, according to reports.

Bradley admitted during sentencing that he had planned to sell the fentanyl.
