Niles woman sentenced in burglary, assault

Staff report

WARREN — A woman received a prison term of two to three years for breaking into a home and assaulting a man amid what prosecutors described as a group attack.

Ashlee Noble, 36, of 14th Street, Niles, was sentenced Thursday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty July 8 to second-degree felonious assault and second-degree burglary. The charges stemmed from a Nov. 25, 2024, incident at a Cherry Avenue home in Niles, where a 36-year-old man was assaulted by several people who forced their way inside.

During sentencing, Noble denied to the judge that the assault was triggered by a dispute over a TikTok video. Prosecutors countered that Noble had minimized her role in the incident and failed to accept responsibility as the main perpetrator.

Starting at $3.23/week.
