Braceville collecting time capsule items

BRACEVILLE 250: Braceville will celebrate America250 with a time capsule event and grand finale celebration from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. This is the township’s final Braceville 250 event, which started one year ago and will be at the Braceville service center by the fire and police departments. The public is invited to bring their memories and mementos including letters, old photos and stories, letters, local artifacts, artwork and keepsakes. NEIL ARMSTRONG FLIGHT ANNIVERSARY: Neil Armstrong’s First Flight-90th anniversary will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the First Flight Lunar Module, 2553 Parkman Road NW. The free event marks the 90th anniversary of 6-year-old Neil Armstrong’s first airplane ride from Warren Airways, which is now the site of First Flight Lunar Module. On July 26, 1936, the Warren and Champion resident took his first flight from Warren Airways in a Ford Tri-Motor airplane known as the Tin Goose. Agricultural outreach grows community awareness

This past month has been filled with so many wonderful opportunities to share our love and passion for farming, and to give consumers a small glimpse into what it takes to raise and care for crops and animals. Not only was the Trumbull County Fair in the past month, but on behalf of Trumbull County Farm Bureau, me and fellow advocates had another story time with a farmer session that was a huge success earlier this summer.
