STEPS OF HOPE WALK: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will host its fifth annual Steps of Hope Walk 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Perkins Park in Warren. The event is open to the public via registration. Nearly 400 walkers are expected to raise more than $25,000 for the St. Vincent de Paul Northeast Ohio District to support community members in need. The event is supported by more than 75 local sponsors and community partners. During the walk, music will be provided by The Music Machine, along with family-friendly activities including a kids and family fun run. Participants will receive a complimentary lunch and SVdP gift. Basket and 50/50 raffles will round out the day. The walk is a national event to raise awareness and funds for those facing rapidly rising rates of food and financial insecurity in our area. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul makes an impact in Trumbull, Portage and Ashtabula counties through the volunteers and donors dedicated to serving the underprivileged in our community. FALL FEST: St. Rose Parish, 39 E. Main St. in Girard, will have its Fall Fest 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday in the church parking lot. There will be food, music and a cake walk.
MOBILE MARKET: The Trumbull County Mobile Market will be at the McKinley Memorial Library parking lot 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. The market will offer fresh produce and other goods to Trumbull County residents age 18 and older
