WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA: Niles city has partnered for Wreaths Across America and will place wreaths on veterans' graves at the Niles City Cemetery. The community can sponsor a wreath for each veteran's grave while paying tribute to fallen veterans. Niles has hosted the event for the past four years with 1,600 wreaths placed in 2024. This year’s ceremony takes place at noon Saturday. The wreaths will be laid immediately after the ceremony. Each wreath costs $17. ‘Geauga Jeep Invasion’ benefits veterans

MIDDLEFIELD — The sixth annual “Geauga Jeep Invasion” rolled through Geauga County with record participation and generosity this year, raising nearly $20,000 to benefit local veterans’ programs. The event was organized by the Burton-Middlefield Rotary Club and chaired by Andrew Pleso, with major sponsorship from Junction Auto Family and support from numerous local partners.
