Tree planting set at Packard Park

TREE PLANTING: A community tree planting will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Packard Park, Mahoning Avenue, Warren. The tree planting will be near the children’s play area. The event is being held by Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership and Warren city. Have you ever had something trigger childhood memories? I did recently when I attended the Maple Syrup Hall of Fame Brunch in Burton with my mom and sister-in-law. This by-invitation-only event is sponsored by the Geauga County Maple Festival and is held before the festival to reveal winners of this year’s maple contests.
