TREE PLANTING: A community tree planting will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at Packard Park, Mahoning Avenue, Warren. The tree planting will be near the children’s play area. The event is being held by Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership and Warren city.

VIENNA SOCIETY: The Vienna Historical Society will sponsor a program featuring local author Paul Rohrbaugh at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Copper Penny, 4275 Warren Sharon Road. He will speak on “Driving It Home: General Motors Lordstown Complex 1956-2019.” Books by Rohrbaugh will be available for sale. Seating is limited.

FUNDRAISER TO HELP FAMILY: St. Rose Church in Girard is sponsoring a benefit bake sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday to help a family who lost their home on Second Street in Girard earlier this year.
