Seeing Eye: Historial society to host archaeology camp

DIG INTO TRUMBULL COUNTY’S PAST: Children can dig into Trumbull County’s past this summer at a hands-on archaeology summer camp for ages 8 to 14. The camp, which is hosted by the Trumbull County Historical Society, will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 8 to 10 at Center Brook Manor, 8745 Painesville Warren Road in Bloomfield. Campers will work side‑by‑side with real archaeologists, learning how to identify artifacts, use excavation tools, and interpret the clues left behind by the people who lived here long ago.
