WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA: The cities of Niles and Girard will both be hosting Wreaths Across America events at noon Saturday. The Niles event will be held at Niles City Cemetery off Niles Vienna Road, and the Girard event at Girard City Cemetery off Route 422. Participants at both events will place wreaths on veterans’ graves while paying tribute to fallen veterans. Niles has held the event for the past four years, with 1,600 wreaths placed in 2024. Blackstone Funeral Home has coordinated the Girard event with a goal this year of 1,300 wreaths.

BRACEVILLE AMERICA 250: The Braceville America 250 Christmas celebration will be 5 p.m. Sunday at the township hall, 582 Braceville Robinson Road. There will be holiday music and refreshments.

HOMETOWN HOLIDAYS: The Hometown Holidays 5th annual celebration will be 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday in and around historic downtown Warren. The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County and the Trumbull County Historical Society will be on Courthouse Square. There will be activities for the entire family, from markets, music and a parade. The event will also include meets and greets with Santa Claus and other surprise guests, ice sculptures, horse and carriage rides, ornament-making crafts, music and a tree lighting.
