Christmas dance to welcome all skill levels
CHRISTMAS DANCE: The Friendly Squares will host their Christmas dance 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Niles Scope Center, 14 E. State St. Gene Hammond and Neil Harnar will be the callers. This will be a high / low dance, with alternating tips for new dancers and tips for more experienced dancers. Dress code is casual. There is a $7 cost per person at the door. ORNAMENT CRAFT FOR KIDS: The McKinley Memorial Library will present “Pinecone Holiday Ornaments” 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the McKinley Birthplace Home in Niles. Children ages 5-11 are invited to make both a pine tree ornament and a flower ornament while listening to a selection of festive music. Registration is required at 330-652-1704, ext. 4.
CREATION STATION: The McKinley Memorial Library is offering a holiday card creation station 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the library. Participants will create a unique and festive holiday card to give to a loved one or friend. All ages are welcome. All supplies will be provided.
CHRISTMAS CRAFT SHOW: The Woman’s Guild of St. William Church, 5411 Mahoning Ave. NW, Champion, will host their annual Christmas craft show 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Ethnic foods will be available for eat-in or carryout.
