Commission expected to vote on annexation

WARREN – Trumbull County Commissioners are expected to vote today on an annexation petition of 61.65 acres of land in Howland and Weathersfield townships to Niles that is owned by JRD Holdings Inc. that is expected to be used for a housing development. Company officials address proposed data center for McDonald

McDONALD — Officials with Oppidan said a proposed data center possibly to be located at the former McDonald Steel property will mean 250 full-time jobs and $7.3 million in property taxes for the village, but residents are concerned with emissions, noise and environmental issues if such a facility is built.
