WEATHERSFIELD — Township fire Chief Tom Lambert confirmed one person and his pet died in a Friday morning fire at a mobile home park. Lambert said the first call for the fire came in as an explosion at Deforest Road, and both Howland and Weathersfield were dispatched because the road is shared, with Howland firefighters reporting it was in Weathersfield once they arrived.
