Fly in to aviation trail opening

A newly completed one-mile trail invites walkers to get their steps in while discovering the Mahoning Valley’s aviation history. The Air Heritage Trail, a $500,000 project, will be presented to the public during a ribbon cutting and reception at 3 p.m. Friday. Entrance to the path is located at 4300 King Graves Road, Vienna, between the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport and the Youngstown Air Reserve Station’s new main gate. Number of Trumbull suicides rose in August

WARREN — The Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board and partner agencies are addressing what they say is a concerning increase in suicide deaths in Trumbull County and is reminding residents that help and support are available. According to Trumbull County Coroner’s Office data, there have been 26 suicide deaths reported this year compared with 12 deaths during the same period in 2025. HOWLAND — Residents crossing through one of Howland’s central roads have endured months of construction, and one asked what could be done about motorists who don’t obey the rules as crews continue to work.
