Brian J. McAllister

CHAMPION — Brian J. McAllister, 48, entered into the arms of Jesus on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born June 28, 1977, in Warren, the son of Mark McAllister and Gail Burnham McAllister Hollis.

A 1995 graduate of Chalker High School, Brian worked as a process technician at Old Castle Infrastructure in Middlefield. He loved to be outdoors, and you could find him hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling off-road and playing golf. When indoors, he enjoyed playing pool and watching the Steelers or basketball. His most cherished time was with his daughter, Kassidy.

He was a member of First Community Church of Leavittsburg.

Precious memories of Brian live on with his daughter, Kassidy McAllister of Warren Township; his special friend, Anni Bennett of Newton Falls; his brother, Justin McAllister; his stepfather, David Hollis of Southington; his stepsister, Jennifer Hollis McGlynn (Rick) of Girard and their children, Chayton and Danica; and Kassidy’s mother, Hope Sunderland of Warren Township.

His father, Mark, and his mother, Gail, preceded him in death.

Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at First Community Church, 4640 W. Market St., Leavittsburg, OH 44430.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at First Community Church, with Pastor John Jaros officiating. All who knew and loved Brian are welcome to attend and celebrate Brian’s good life.

Interment will follow the services in Southington Township Cemetery.
