Straniak – McBride

Erin A. Straniak and Brendan I. McBride were married during a wedding ceremony Oct. 31, 2015, at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown. Officiating the event was Shawn Peura.

A reception was held following cocktail hour at The Grand Ballroom in Stambaugh Auditorium.

The bride is the daughter of Paul Straniak of Warren and Gerry Straniak of Cortland. Parents of the groom are Gary and Melanie McBride of Cortland.

Danielle Bush attended the bride as maid of honor, while Shawnna Timko, Lindsey Blazek and Ashley Gladd served as bridesmaids. Aubrey and Jackson Straniak, niece and nephew of the bride, shared the duties of flower children.

Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Sean McBride. Groomsmen were Matthew Straniak, Anthony Marcello and Joseph Marcello. Liam and Lochlan McBride, nephews of the groom, shared the duties of ring bearers. Trenton Burroughs, cousin of the bride served as an usher.

The new Mrs. McBride is a 2006 graduate from Warren G. Harding High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in applied science in 2012 from Youngstown State University. She is employed by The Buckle as store manager.

Mr. McBride also graduated from WGH in 2006, and is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in engineering technology at Kent State University. He is employed by G.W. Becker Overhead Crane as a mechanical designer.

The couple resides in Cortland.
