BOYS SOCCER

Howland 4, Solon 0 — Four different players scored for Howland (15-1-1) in a shutout victory. Goals were scored by Mitch Gentis, Luca Naples, Aydien Brefczynski, and Mitch Gentis. Carter Jones made four saves in goal.

GIRLS SOCCER

Warren JFK 4, Lake Center 0 — Kennedy was led by two Saumya Sheth goals in a shutout with Celia Lalfuria in goal. Olivia Tilley had a goal and an assist and Sophia Tilley had a goal for the Eagles. Carly Dittmer assisted on two goals and Sophia Bonacker assisted on another to pace the JFK offense.

Badger 6, Newton Falls 1 — Mia DeCesare scored the lone Newton Falls goal. Mia Heckathorn assisted on the goal.

Springfield 8, Struthers 0 — Springfield (13-3-1) recorded their 9th shutout of the season, led by Maddie Page with four goals. Liv Zitkovic added a pair of goals and an assist. Rylie Wolfe and Kristina Vecchione also scored, while Kimi Wylie had two assists for the Tigers. Struthers (4-11) goalie Layla Patterson made 21 saves.

Cardinal Mooney 4, Ursuline 2 — Julia Diorio had a pair of goals for Mooney. The Cardinals also got goals from Leah Hudak and Katie Precision. Sophia Dibo had five saves in goal.

VOLLEYBALL

Austintown Fitch 3, Lakeview 0 — Fitch won in three sets 25-20, 25-16, and 25-19. Lakeview was led by Ella Gough with 14 digs, 10 points, and two aces and CeCe DeToro with 16 assists.

Crestview 3, Girard 0 — Crestview (19-3) won in three sets 25-9, 25-10, and 25-13 led by Lainy Auer with 26 kills, nine digs, and one ace. Sophia Stewart added 29 assists, 12 digs, five kills, and four aces for the Rebels.

Howland 3, Poland 0 — Maya Kubancsek led Howland with 21 kills, 14 digs, and two aces in a sweep over Poland 25-22, 25-21, and 25-21. Talia Rishel had 33 assists and Gabby Rich had 12 service points with two aces. Michelina Wayt (15) and Maya Kubancsek (14) led the Tigers in digs.

Wheeling Central Catholic 3, Columbiana 0 — Columbiana (18-4) was swept 25-13, 25-14, and 25-22. The Clippers were led by Evy Rapp with 10 digs, four points, three kills, and two blocks.

Heartland Christian 3, Wood County Christian 0 — Heartland Christian (13-9), led by Keagan Pruitt with 10 kills and four aces won in a sweep 25-19, 25-16, and 25-16. Claire Liposky added 12 kills, nine digs, and two aces and Makenna Wilson had 25 assists, nine digs, and three aces.

Warren JFK 3, Brookfield 1 — After dropping the first set, JFK won three straight to win 20-25, 25-19, 25-20, and 26-24. Alexia Baker had 22 digs and Cassi Samios had 15 digs and 10 kills for Brookfield. Rylie Burdge added 26 assists and 11 digs.
