BOYS SOCCER
Poland 12, Conneaut 0 – Poland improved to 13-1-4 behind three goals and one assist from Andreas Tsikouris. Renzo Tukalo added two goals and one assist. The Bulldogs also got goals from Carter Iberis, Xander Thorton, Salvatore Carramusa, Skevos Tsikouris, Michael Hostal, Lucas Henn, and Stefan Milosevic. Henn also had two assists.
Cardinal Mooney 8, Cleveland VASJ 0 – Dimitri Zoumis had four goals and three assists to lead the Mooney (12-3-1) offense. Jacob Gugliotta added a hat trick and an assist for the Cardinals. Mihali Frangos also found the net and Angel Alvarez had a pair of assists.
GIRLS SOCCER
Warren JFK 10, Wellington 0 – Sophia Tilley and Kaylee Gordon had a pair of goals each to pace the JFK offense. Saumya Sheth, Laney Condoleon, Shayna Massacci, Zoie Luzadder, and Carly Dittmer also had goals. The Eagles got two assists from Olivia Tilley and one each from Ellie Niemi, Emily Sweeney, and Clare Phillips.
Badger 2, Grand Valley 1 – Ruby Smegal and Brinley Rice scored a goal each to lead Badger (12-6) to a sectional championship. Maelyn Custer added an assist for the Braves and goalie Piper Dailey made six saves.
Bristol 5, Crestview 0 – Jenna Perris had two goals and two assists and Deserae Raymond added two goals and an assist as Bristol notched a shutout. Lauren Church also had a goal and an assist and Panthers goalie Madison Armour made eight saves.
Springfield 8, Brooklyn 0 – Maddie Page found the net three times, including her 100th career goal and assisted on three more goals for Springfield (14-3-1) in their 10th shutout of the season. Rylie Wolfe added two goals and two assists and Kaylee Nemenz also scored for the Tigers.
VOLLEYBALL
Bloomfield 3, Windham 1 – Peyton Koon had 16 points, five kills, and one block as Bloomfield won in four sets 25-13, 22-25, 25-15, and 25-18. Dellanie Murphy added 16 digs and six aces, while Hailey Ishman had nine assists and six aces.
