Not So Haunted House returns to Austintown

Gateways to Better Living brings back its Not So Haunted House for the Halloween season.

Gateway provides programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the attraction is designed as a fun way to learn about sensory stimulation without the frights of other haunted attractions.

It celebrates community inclusion by bringing together people with unique needs in a welcoming environment.

It includes a Luminous Lagoon, Minecraft Mystic Island, Monster Munch, Hocus Pocus Potion, Pumpkin Plinko, Galaxy Goo, a mystery guessing game and a practice trick-or-treat door for attendees to try trick or treating in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The No So Haunted House is located in the former Casals building at Austintown Plaza, 5000 Mahoning Ave.

It is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday exclusively to schools and providers and from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday to the general public.

Admission is free with support provided by Austintown Plaza, IPS and ECMSI. For more information, go to gatewaystbl.com/news-events/.

Starting at $3.23/week.
