BOYS SOCCER

Poland 4, Hubbard 0 — Despite being scoreless at halftime, the Bulldogs’ offense came alive in the second half. Xander Thornton opened the scoring 3:29 into the second half, and Skevos Tsikouris followed with another goal just over three minutes later. Freshman Salvatore Carramusa scored twice to put the game out of reach. Andreas Tsikouris had two assists, and Lucas Henn had one.

Badger 9, Lordstown 0 — Badger improved to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the NAC as they scattered nine goals. Jack Harnett scored two goals, while Tristan Sawtelle, Dax Harnett, Lewis Flowers, Ernie Cunningham, Julian Angel, Blake Donaldson and Silas Harnett each scored once. Champion 9, Waterloo 1 — The Golden Flashes got three goals from Carter Chapin in the win. Westin Kuhns and Nick Abruzzi both finished with two goals, and Kuhns also had an assist. Badger 9, Cardinal 0 — The Braves opened up NAC play with a win over the Huskies thanks to a hat trick by Maelyn Custer, who also had an assist. Ruby Smegal and Brinley Rice both finished with two goals, and Kenleigh Kurpe and Emily O’Brien each scored as well. Shea Smegal added an assist, and Piper Dailey stopped four shots for Badger (1-1, 1-0). Lilah Turon made seven saves for Cardinal.

Champion 5, Waterloo 1 — In Champion, Jackie Fields had a memorable night, scoring all five of the Golden Flashes’ goals. Grayson Knoske, Ella Pompoco, Abby Pattinson and Rachel Wiedenheft each had an assist, and Allison Henderlight stopped eight shots.

Maddie Neville had 12 kills, 13 digs and two aces, Makenna Wilson picked up 19 assists, 22 digs and an ace and Keagan Pruitt finished with eight kills, 14 digs and five aces for Heartland Christian (4-2).

Brookfield 3, Pymatuning Valley 2 — The Warriors held on to win 25-18, 17-25, 25-22, 23-25, 15-8. MaRae Craig had 18 kills and a block for Brookfield. Maci Phillips picked up seven kills, three assists and three blocks. Rylie Burdge led the Warriors with 31 assists and eight digs, and Alexia Baker finished with 15 digs.
