GIRLS BASKETBALL
Mineral Ridge 48, Lowellville 19 – Brianna Gilbert scored 11 points to lead Mineral Ridge. The Rams also had a trio of players score eight points each, including Sullivan Sandy, Brystal Mills, and Kylee Molnar. McKenna Lewis had 10 points for Lowellville.
Jackson Milton 60, Sebring 27 – Raegan Wynn scored nine to lead Sebring. Ava Coen added six points.
Springfield 41, Campbell 11 – No stats were provided.
Poland 58, Lakeview 29 – Brooklyn Kosco scored 16 points to lead Poland in the battle of the Bulldogs. Briella Rowe added 11 for Poland and Leanna Boccieri added 10. For Lakeview, Mackenzie Stowe had seven points.
LaBrae 46, Garrettsville Garfield 41 – Ella Kuszmaul scored 18 points, including four 3-pointers for LaBrae. Riley Rowe added eight for the Vikings, who trailed 26-21 at halftime. Garfield was led by Mandy Cardinal with 15 points.
Girard 55, Struthers 28 – Caylee Wilkes poured in a game high 23 to lead Girard. The Indians Ally Gassman added 15 points. Gianna Martin led Struthers with 11 points.
Niles 34, Hubbard 33 – Kherington Stanford sank a free throw with two seconds left to put Niles ahead for good. Maddie Yost led the Dragons with 15 points. Ava Ferri added nine points and five rebounds and Caroline Cornell had six points and eight rebounds. Layla Songer led Hubbard with 12 points. Chloe Cicero added 10 points and five assists for the Eagles.
Western Reserve 72, Waterloo 12 – Kylee Ramsey led Western Reserve (10-1) with 18 points. Giana Leone added 11 points and Baylie Sinn had nine for the Blue Devils. Quincy Miller also had nine points and broke the school record for career 3-pointers with 142. Waterloo was led by Alexis Henry with six points.
Crestview 67, Liberty 26 – Addison Rhodes scored 25 to lead the Rebels to a victory over Liberty. Ava Bucey tacked on 14 for Crestview. Danelle Coleman, Melinah West, and Andrea Reed all led the Leopards with six points each.
