DEAR EDITOR:

Star Parker doesn’t get it. She thinks everything is political.

It is not that Democrats don’t love the United States, we just don’t recognize it any more. Can you imagine Eisenhower or Kennedy hawking gold shoes or Bibles for sale on TV or selling them in the White House? None of the other presidents destroyed part of “the People’s House” to make it look like a gaudy casino.

Don’t let him destroy the Kennedy Center!

Did you have to hustle your kids out of the room when other presidents were on TV because they were making crude remarks about disabled people or anyone they didn’t like? Remember Trump’s suggestion to drink fish tank cleaner to ward off COVID and several people died?

Trump has broken most, if not all, of the Ten Commandments and is now ignoring the rules established by the Constitution and Bill of Rights, which were established to get us away from a king.

Remember when he could go out in the street and shoot someone and get away with it? Now he lets ICE do that!

His reckless economic policies are making things cost more, thus making everyday life less affordable for people all across the country, and wage growth is at a standstill.

His policies have raised the national debt, ruined our standing with other countries (who don’t know what to expect next), transferred enormous amounts of money from working people’s pockets to the ultra rich, including his own family.

His vendetta against anyone he doesn’t like (and narcissists don’t like anyone but themselves unless they can do something for him) has brought chaos to our cities and sown division, fear, and violence.

This is not what America fought for 250 years ago!!! You would think Congress and SCOTUS would stop him. They all took oaths to uphold the Constitution but they seem to have forgotten that detail.

Lindsey Graham stood on the stage recently and bragged about “killing all the right people.”

Would that be a child shot in their classroom because no one will pass common sense gun legislation? Is it the woman who was having a miscarriage and died because of extreme abortion bans?

Or the millions of Americans who can’t get the care they need because they don’t have health insurance? Who are the right people to die and who gave you the right to judge?

Trump wants every place he is to be “golden,” history to be sanitized and not reflect reality, and his name or face on everything.

Trust me, we will never forget his terms in office and we don’t need to see his name or face on everything!
